"This photo of young Jewish girls dressed up as gypsies, was taken in the spring of 1927 in Lutowiska. It was kept by my aunt, who lived there until the 1930s. They were her neighbors. My aunt said that in this family (I unfortunately do not recall their last name), there were all daughters, all pretty girls. In Lutowiska there were about 1200 Jews, over half of the residents."
